Our Rocket

Our rocket has come a long way it went from going 20 meters to 90 meters! I am happy that we have got it to go this far. Our first rocket looked totally different  than what it looks like now. The first one looked so weird now i think it lookes better then it did and it workes better too. We think we should enter for distence. If we do i hope we win!

New Rocket

This is what it looks like now. This went 95 meters. *Yay finally*!!!!!!! :D  :) There was a big difference between the first time and now. We found out what was wrong it needed more weight for its center of gravity. It also needed less air resistance with those little adjustments it made it go 95 meters than our 1st rocket that went 20 meters.

Today we did our first rocket launch....We only went 20 meters :/
Now we are building a new rocket that is light weight unlike our last one that was heavy.

Today's progress

Today we make are rocket look better. We put different kinds of duck tape on it to make it look cool! We put a lot more hot glue on the fins. I took a picture of me and the rocket and I will post that later. We want to enter for distance. I think our rocket will go far!

Yesterday's progress

Yesterday we started are rockets. We are almost finished with it but we need to make it look better. We used 3 fins and we put them by the cap. For the cone we put a cup and made a point. We put it on the bottom of the bottle.

Initial observations

Today we watched bottle rockets being launched so we could get an idea on how to make our own bottle rocket. We noticed that its not all about the water in it, its about the pressure being applied to the bottle rocket.
